In March 2014 bus route 142 will be 100 years old!

London bus route 142 has run continuously between Watford Junction and Kilburn Park Station (latterly to Brent Cross) for 100 years having been started by the London General Omnibus Company in March 1914.

On Sunday 30th March 2014 free additional services will run using vintage and classic London buses over the 142 and 158 (Watford-Harrow) routes together with services over the old London Transport ‘green’ routes 302, 306, 311, 345, 346, 346D School Special and 347.

The Bus Running Day will be based on Watford Junction Bus Interchange and services will operate at frequent intervals from 10.03 until 17.17.
