Looking for green-fingered Oxhey residents for daffodil planting!

Watford Council is offering naturalising daffodils. They could be planted in decent sized blocks on Oxhey Green, in ‘drifts’ towards the steps leading down to the fields, and also in front of the established beds, near the notice boards.

We are hoping that we have a green fingered resident in Oxhey Village who would like to take charge of this short-term project. It would involve meeting Watford’s Horticultural Manager to decide on the location and then as quickly as possible planting the bulbs. Once the bulbs have been planted, the job is done as the daffodils will flower and hopefully keep flowering over the years.
