Four or Five levels is FAR TOO HIGH! At these heights the development will be seen to easily and completely spoil the general outlook.

I have to disagree. It’s at the bottom of the valley next to a 5 storey high railway embankment. It’s the 23 storey blocks now given permission on Clarendon Road that wil spoil the outlook. It’s the access that is the problem. A new road oppositethe Lal Baghdad will be dangerous, as it will create traffic conflicts with vehicles joining Chalk Hill from Pinner Road.

Happy for the development to take place, but the developers need to also improve the look and feel of the Bushey Arches and work with the council to improve traffic flow by implementing a one-way system

Although you are entitled to have an opinion, you’re totally off your head to be “happy” with such a development! Look at all the other SENSIBLE comments from everyone else. Have you been offered a “back hander” by the developer or do you just not give a s–t about the environment?

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, this is an abomination. It’s Far, far too high and it will completely ruin the whole area. The Bushey Arches and the railway are an important part of our local history and should be left exactly as they are, without hideous developments like this one spoiling the area.

Another thing, all the extra vehicles on the local roads will further make this already chronic road problem even worse.

Part two of the proposal states that the height will be reduced from ten to nine storeys. THIS IS NOT A PROPER HEIGHT REDUCTION (ONLY ONE STOREY LESS!)

The MAXIMUM should be THREE storeys, in keeping with other developments in this area. Either way, it should NOT be higher than the Bushey Arches.

As it stands, the latest proposal is NOT ACCEPTABLE!
