Foodbank Update

The Trussell Trust network would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the amazing community who have continued to generously support donations for those that need it the most during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the first lockdown period they have been able to donate:

  • 438kg – Watford Food Bank
  • 106 bags- One Vision
  • 11 bags – New Hope

Providing ongoing support to these organisations is still vital, and donations can be delivered to donation points all over the village, listed below:

  • 23 Blenheim Close
  • 53 Brookdene Avenue
  • 40 Cross Road
  • 85 Eastbury Road
  • 54 Lower Paddock
  • 14 Maxwell Rise
  • 53 Oxhey Avenue
  • 36 Oxhey Road
  • 64 Pinner Road
  • 42 The Pastures
  • 7 Upper Paddock
  • 48 Vale Road
  • 78 Villiers Road

If your area does not yet have a collection point and you are interested in helping with donations please email themayor@watford.gov.uk.

Items that are particularly needed include long life fruit juice, tinned meat and fruit, pasta sauces, jam, peanut butter, sugar, sweet treats.
